Thokozani.
Welcome to my 1st post as I'm still new to this whole blogging and website situation, I hope we will all help each other to grow.
I always get the question "when did you know you had a calling?" Well, I can't point at the exact date but I always knew there was something special about me.
I'm born Banele Dladla, last born from 6 children. I knew something was weird about me because I was the only child way before I even reached my teen years who was able to hold down a proper conversation with my mom. She used to vent to me about big people's problems.
Everytime I would be upset, I would talk to myself (well I thought I was talking to myself) on what I needed to feel better, if it was the other party coming to apologies to me...guess what? They would come to apologise.
I remember events as further back as I was just below 5 years😂, I remember the conversation that was had, what people were wearing and the approximately of the time.
No one said anything about the kind of child I was, but I was treated differently. I was not your normal spoilt last born everyone had to handle with care, I was more of the person you called when you needed a back up. I was the person you called when someone needed bailing.
Let's just say...I was born an old soul.👏
